Hello everyone.  Al Kurek (Batavia) hosts this site with Ted Palmer (Oneida) as an original site donor. Having 60 years plus experience on the job and as many in retirement, we felt a need to maintain the New York Troopers History, simply because no one else did.  This site is funded  in its entirety by your host.

Come travel with us back in time, when the New York State Troopers founded in 1917 were the only law enforcement in the rural communities. See the Troopers progress and development through the many (one of a kind) photos featured. You may even recognize a family member or a friend that was once a trooper or recall an instance in meeting a trooper, when you view the many automobile, motorcycle or member photos featured.

If you have historical or interesting NYS Trooper photos or memorabilia that you would care to share on this website, please contact me via email. Give a brief description of the item amd how you can be contacted. Inclusion will be based on our ability to create a digital copy. Your contribution will be acknowledged.

Are you looking for a friend from the job, genealogy research or just someone you once knew. Just ask. All responsible inquiries will be answered.
